This series began as another exploration of film stills. However, it evolved into something much different. The work in this series is based off of a need to explore a private side of one's self, a side of desperation and hopelessness that can overwhelm us at times, a side that is very rarely revealed outside of our personal, domestic spaces. This work begins to address issues and questions of identity, cinematic theatrics, and the mundane that are all incorporated into my most recent work. This series acted as a huge stepping stone towards my current photographs.
